This book contributes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Web-Based Learning, ICWL 2006, held in Penang, Malaysia in July 2006.
　　The 31 revised full papers presented together with 1 keynote talk were carefully reviewed and selected from 99 submissions during two rounds of reviewing and improvement.
