作者简介 :
Stephen King was born in Portland, Maine, in 1947. He won a scholarship award to the University of Maine and later taughter English, while his wife, Tabitha, got her degree.

It was the publication of his first novel Carrie and its subsequent film adaptation that set him on his way to his present position as perhaps the bestselling author in the world.

Carrie was followed by a string of bestsellers including The Shining, The Stand, It, Bag of Bones, On Writing (A Memoir of the Craft) and Dreamcatcher.

He lives in Bangor, Maine, with his wife, novelist Tabitha King.
