This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed joint post-proceedings of four workshops held during the Pacific Rim International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, PRICAI 2000, held in Melbourne, Australia, in August/September 2000.
The 32 revised full papers presented were carefully selected during two rounds of reviewing and revision.
