《新视野大学英语》有读写教程和听说教程，但没有专门培养学生泛读能力的教材。我们编写《新视野大学英语同步阅读提高》系列丛书，其目的正是为了扩大学生的知识面，增加他们的英语词汇，提高他们的阅读能力，以此构建更完整的《新视野大学英语》系列教程。 本套丛书既可供正在使用《新视野大学英语读写教程》的大学生使用，也可供大学英语教师参考，还可供相应水平的英语自学者使用。
