本书以全英文版的形式介绍了精神病学。
Historically the development of Psychiatry and Mental Health Services in Asia has followed its colonial past. Whilst textbooks for Britain and United States have contributed much to the knowledge base of medical undergraduate in the Region. It is time for an undergraduate text in English language to be prepared by Asian Psychiatrists for Asian undergraduates with a special Asian approach and emphasis. The willing and enthusiastic collaboration of many Asian psychiatrists enabled the publication of this textbook, which will fill a gap in the education of future generation of doctors as well as other health care professionals in the Region. 编辑推荐：
