内容提要：
本教材针对物流行业英语听说读写技能需求进行培训设计。全书总共十个单元,每个单元都有一个主题。所有教学活动都以训练听说技能为主,兼顾读和写的技能训练。主要涉及物流的主要环节,并进行展开,包括物流的作用、航运与物流、物流与信息、第三方物流(JIT服务)、物流的优劣等章节,并配以生动的案例。每课课文以对话的形式,向读者介绍中心内容、专门的术语及专业表达法,每篇课文均配有口语对话和听力练习,书后附有练习答案。使读者能身临其境得以了解物流的整个过程,从中触类旁通,举一反三。
