Patrick Witton
Patrick Witton first donned a backpack when he was three years old, travelling across Southeast Asia and Europe with his tie-dyed parents. He never really reassimilated into day-to-day life in Adelaide, and took to the road as soon as his mother let him: first on the Glenelg tram; soon after on a Garuda flight to Indonesia.Once in Indonesia he found himself lost in a market at the age of 12, involuntarily prompting him to take up Indonesian language studies in the hope that he would one day see his parents again. He has since studied Indonesian and writing/editing in both Australia and Indonesia, and has authored for Lonely Planet’s World Food Series, Condensed Series, the Indonesian Phrasebook, and coordinated the Indonesian Guidebook. 编辑推荐:
