Jay Rubin,Haruki Murakami was born in born in Kyoto in 1949 and lives near Tokyo。His work has been translated into thirty-four languages,and the most recent of his many honours is the Yomiuri Literary Prize,whoese previous recipients include Yukio Mishima,Kenzaburo Oe and Kobo Abe。
Jay Rubin is a professor of Japanese Liteature at Harvard University。He is the author of Haruki Murakami and the Music of Words and he has also translated Murakamis’s The Wind-up Bird Cbronicle and After the Quake。 |
