内容提要：
本书是“国际合作综合英语教学实验教材”的小学第二册，分上下两分册（2A、2B），适用于实验班二年级。为了始终如一地贯彻实验的基本原则，本册仍强调教学中要有大语言量，每课所涉及的词汇和句型都在第一册的程度上有所廷神，表现为单词量更大，涉及句型、句式更多、更复杂。本册教材和练习册中设有一些开放性的内容和练习，希望对学生发散性思维的培养和语言能力的提高有所帮助。与其他教材不同，本册教材不主张词汇教学，不搞简单背记单词，反对枯燥反复的讲练，而突出把培养儿童英语语言能力放在第一位，注重营造轻松愉悦、贴近儿童生活和兴趣的语言习得过程。
本册设10个单元，分别以不同的活动性主题作为教学单元加以呈现，同时配有录音带、学生练习册和教师家长用书。“练习册”与教材相配套，配合教学活动；“教师家长用书”是重要的教学指导书，有利教师教学和家长的相应配合，提高教学效果。 目录：
