当代语义理论指南/当代国外语言学与应用语言学文库[英文版]

语义学须对句子的每个成分都做出解释，这应当是不言而喻的。省略句的语义解释显然比完整句要复杂得多，因此对省略成分做解释一直是语义学中的一个重要课题，文献中讨论得比较多的有动词组省略句，其它的还有只含一个论元的省略句等。拉平所写的文章讨论了如何重建省略句的语义解释。
语义学的发展同时也推动着相关学科的发展。语言学描写语言，计算语言学计算语言。虽然分工是不一样的，但研究的对象都是语言。计算语言学在处理自然语言语句中非常关注语言学家提出的理论，中心词驱动短语结构语法（HPSG）就是计算语言学中采用得较多的一种语言理论。
