Tianjin Dialect is one of the most interesting dialects, inparticular, for its tone.It has attracted many phoneticiansand phonologists, among whom are found the authors of the MAtheses collected here. The theses discuss Tianjin Dialect from theaspects of phonetics, phonology and sociolinguistics. All theauthors are Professor Wang Jialing’s students.
