内容提要：
本册以基本语法为重点，这点有必要提请使用者注意。不过，随着课文长度和难度的曾加，同时也考虑到向高年级的过渡，总生词量和重点讲解的词汇，比一、二册有显著扩大；词汇例句中的义项或结构分类也逐渐细致、多样。这样，语法和词汇互相依存，递增积累，使读者不仅掌握基本的训法框架，而且拥有越来越丰富的词汇去填充这些框架。编者认为词汇量的扩大固然要靠新词的不断引入，但是充分发掘已学单词的多义性及搭配上的各种变化，也不失为事半功倍的途径。
